Turkısh Central Bank Sells Try1 Bln At 6.83% In Repo
Turkey's central bank Monday boosted market liquidity by selling 1 billion Turkish lira ($660 million) in a repurchase agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY3.560 billion. The average simple interest rate was 6.83%the average compound rate was 7.07%.
The repo matures April 12.
At the last repo, held Friday, the central bank sold TRY1 billion at an average simple interest rate of 6.82%.
