Turkısh Central Bank Sells Try500 Mln At 6.99% In Repo
The Turkish central bank Tuesday boosted market liquidity by selling 500 million Turkish lira ($335.2 million) in a repurchase agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY2.680 billion. The average simple interest rate was 6.99%the average compound rate was 7.24%.
The repo matures May 11.
At the last repo, held Monday, the central bank sold TRY500 million at an average simple interest rate of 6.98%.
