The Poor People's World Cup was organized by the Anti Eviction Campaign to highlight the plight of poor communities that do not benefit from the world's largest sporting event. The group claims the FIFA 2010 World Cup has negatively impacted poor communities as they are forbidden to trade near stadiumsfan parksdo not have money to travel to games or buy tickets.
