Turkısh Central Bank Sells Try2 Bln At 6.97% In Repo
The Turkish central bank Friday boosted market liquidity by selling 2 billion Turkish lira ($1.35 million) in a repurchase agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY6.64 billion. The average simple interest rate was 6.97%the average compound rate was 7.22%.
The repo matures May 7.
At the last repo, held Thursday, the central bank sold TRY1 billion at an average simple interest rate of 6.97%.
