Turkish construction-to-media conglomerate Ihlas Holding (IHLAS.IS) considers new initial public offerings for its units, chairman of Ihlas Holding's broadcasting unit Ihlas Yayin Holding AS, Mucahit Oren, said Monday.
Speaking to reporters, Oren said it is too early to disclose details of the IPOs.
Shares in Ihlas Gazetecilik (IHGZT.IS), newspaper unit of Ihlas Holding earlier Monday started trading on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
Ihlas Holding shares closed the first session of the Istanbul Stock Exchange unchanged from Friday at TRY0.68, while its unit Ihlas Gazetecilik shares were up 7.87% at TRY1.78, amid a 0.96% higher overall market.
Trading in the second session will start at 1100 GMT.
