Turkey's central bank Monday boosted market liquidity by selling 1 billion Turkish lira ($653 million) in a repurchase-agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY2 . 470 billion . The average simple interest rate was 6 . 84%the average compound rate was 7 . 07% .
The repo will mature April 5 .
At the last repo , held Friday , the central bank sold TRY3 billion at an average simple interest rate of 6 . 85% .
