Turkısh Banks May Net Profıt Up 13.9% On Year
The overall net profit of Turkey's banks rose 13.9% on the year to 10.3 billion Turkish lira ($6.5 billion) in May, banking regulator BDDK said Friday.
BDDK said total banking sector assets increased to TRY879 . 3 billion from TRY745 . 1 billion a year earlier .
The sector ' s capital adequacy ratio rose to 19 . 5% in April from 19 . 3% a year earlier , BDDK added .
