Turkey To Start Baskent Dogalgaz Sale Process Thursday
Turkey's privatization agency OIB said Wednesday it will issue a tender advertisement Thursday for the sale of Ankara-based natural gas distributor Baskent Dogalgaz.

Turkish government will sell a 80% stake in Baskent Dogalgaz.
The deadline for the bids is July 19, it said.
Turkey previously held a tender for Baskent Dogalgaz in March 2008. Turkish investment firm Global Yatirim Holding (GLYHO.IS)natural gas engineering firm Energaz submitted the highest bid of $1.61 billion in the tender. However, the sale process was cancelled as the companies couldn't meet their commitments.
Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said in February that German companies are interested in the privatization of Baskent Dogalgaz.
