Turkısh Central Bank Sells Try500 Mln At 6.93% In Repo
The Turkish central bank Tuesday boosted market liquidity by selling 500 million Turkish lira ($338.2 million) in a repurchase agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY2.16 billion. The average simple interest rate was 6.93%the average compound rate was 7.17%.
The repo matures May 4.
At the last repo, held Monday, the central bank sold TRY500 million at an average simple interest rate of 6.91%.
