The new cabinet of ministersdeputies of the United People?s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) which obtained 144 seats from the 225-member parliament, were sworn in 23 April. While those appointed held ministerial portfolios in the previous UPFA government prior to the April elections, the ministries were changed this time over.
