Turkey Fınance Mınıster:no Approval Of Fıscal Rule Untıl End-july

Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said Friday that the government's draft fiscal rule won't be approved by the Turkish parliament until the end of July.


The fiscal rule, due to take effect in 2011 if approved by parliament, aims to establish new rules for fiscal policy, setting benchmarkstargets for budget deficitspublic debt.

Financial market participants in Turkey hope the new fiscal rule will be approved by parliament before its summer recess next week.
