epa02169702 A domestic dog stands on a collapsed section of a flooded house in Sokolniki village, South-eastern Poland, 23 May 2010. Water levels are beginning to go down in the south of the country but rivers are now taking the floodwaters north.  The death toll from the Polish flood has reached 12, the Polish police reported on Saturday. More than 3,000 people have been evacuated from the flooded area. More than 7,000 policemen are patrolling the river dams.
