epa02169696 Road signs in the village of Trzesn, South-eastern Poland, are almost submerged 23 May 2010. Water levels are beginning to go down in the south of the country but rivers are now taking the floodwaters north. The death toll from the Polish flood has reached 12, the Polish police reported on Saturday. More than 3,000 people have been evacuated from the flooded area.
