Turkısh Banks Aprıl Net Profıt Up 18.9% On Year
The overall net profit of Turkey's banks rose 18.9% on the year to 8.579 billion Turkish lira ($5.41 billion) in April, banking regulator BDDK said Friday.
Total banking sector assets increased to TRY857 . 6 billion from TRY735 . 8 billion a year earlier , BDDK said .
The sector ' s capital adequacy ratio rose to 20% in April from 19% a year earlier , BDDK added .
