Turkey Sells Try518.8m Of 11-month Dıscount Bonds
The Turkish treasury said Tuesday it sold 518.8 million lira ($327.7 million) of 11-month discount bonds at an auction.
Bids totaled TRY1 . 516 billion in the auction , with an average compound interest rate of 8 . 39% .
In the non-competitive fixed-price sales before the auctions , or ROT sales , the treasury sold TRY453 . 3 million of the 11-month discount bonds , to primary dealer banks , TRY189 . 3 million to public institutions .
In sum , including the ROT sales , the treasury ' s borrowing totaled TRY1 . 16 billion Tuesday .
