Turkey's Ihlas Gazetecılık Shares Up 5.45% On Debut
Shares in Ihlas Gazetecilik (IHGZT.IS) were up 5.45% from their base price of 1.65 lira ($1.04) on their first day of trading on the Istanbul Stock Exchange Monday.
At 0835 GMT, Ihlas Gazetecilik shares were trading up 5.45% at TRY1.74, in a 0.72% higher overall market.
Ihlas Gazetecilik is a unit of Turkish construction-to-media conglomerate Ihlas Holding (IHLAS.IS).
Ihlas Holding said earlier this month it expects TRY40 million-TRY44 million of revenue from the initial public offering of Ihlas Gazetecilik,will use the money for investment.
Ihlas Holding is also the parent company of the Ihlas News Agency.
