Turkey Central Bank Sells Try3 Bln At 6.78% In Repo
The Turkish central bank Tuesday boosted market liquidity by selling 3 billion Turkish lira ($1.95 billion) in a repurchase-agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY7.520 billion. The average simple interest rate was 6.78%,the average compound rate was 7.01%.
The repo will mature March 9.
At the last repo, held Monday, the central bank sold TRY3 billion at an average simple interest rate of 6.78%.
