Turkey Central Bank Sells Try500 Mıllıon At 7.04% In Repo
The Turkish central bank Monday boosted market liquidity by selling 500 million Turkish lira ($319.5 million) in a repurchase agreement auction.
Bids totaled TRY1.680 billion. The average simple interest rate was 7.04%the average compound rate was 7.29%.
The repo matures May 17.
At the last repo, held Friday, the central bank sold TRY4 billion at an average simple interest rate of 7.07%.
