Turkısh Mınıster: No New Loan Talks Wıth Imf Untıl May

There will be no discussions with the International Monetary Fund for a new loan program until May, Turkish Economy Minister Ali Babacan said Wednesday.

The IMF is scheduled to visit Turkey in May to conduct a regular assessment of the country's economy.

The government will be focused on that assessment, Babacan said.

"We will decide then on how to proceed with the IMF following the assessment," he told reporters.
