Turkey Sells Try648.3m Of Three-year Fıxed-coupon State Note
The Turkish treasury said Monday it has sold 648.3 million Turkish lira ($426.2 million) of a three-year, fixed-coupon state note at an auction.
Bids totaled TRY1.884 billion in the auction, with nominal sales totaling TRY621 million. The average compound interest was 8.57%the average price was TRY104.450.
In the non-competitive fixed-price sales before the auctions, or ROT sales, the treasury sold TRY552.4 million of the three-year state note to primary dealer banks, but didn't sell any to public institutions. In sum, including the ROT sales, the treasury's borrowing totaled TRY1.2 billion Monday.
As previously announced by the treasury, it will sell 12-month discount reference bonds, seven-year floating-rate notesa 10-year bond July 27.
