epa02194155 Finnish President Tarja Halonen (R) hands over a prize of 150,000 EUR to Cavendish Professor of Physics, British Sir Richard Friend (L) at the Grand Award Ceremony of the 2010 Millennium Technology Prize in Helsinki, Finland, 09 June 2010. Swiss Professor Michael Graetzel won the 2010 Millennium Technology Prize, worth 800,000 EUR, that is awarded by the Technology Academy Finland for a technological innovation that significantly improves quality of human lifepromotes sustainable development.
