epa02190909 Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc announces the austerity measures in front of the parliament at Parliament Palace in Bucharest, 07 June 2010. The Boc Cabinet announced salary cuts of up to 25 percentpension cuts of up to 15 per cent as the Government is taking responsibility for the austerity measures. The European Commission notes that, following discussions with Romanian authorities, it has been agreed by both parties to increase in taxes if the Executive's measures are not enforced in due time.
