Turkey Sells Try942m Of 5-year Cpı-lınked State Notes

The Turkish treasury Monday said it has sold 942 million Turkish lira ($606.9 million) of 5-year inflation-linked state notes at an auction.


Nominal bids totaled TRY5.138 billion, with an average compound real interest rate of 3.79%.

In the non-competitive fixed-price sales before the auction, or ROT sales, the treasury sold TRY545.3 million of five-year inflating-linked state notes to primary dealer banksTRY1.8 billion to public institutions.

Including the ROT sales, the treasury's borrowing totaled TRY3.287 billion Monday.

The treasury previously said it will reopen 19-month, discount, state notessell five-year, fixed-coupon state notes June 22.
