Turkısh May Consumer Confıdence Up At 86.58
A key index of Turkish consumer confidence rose to 86.58 points in May from 85.80 in April, a survey conducted by the Turkish Statistics Institutethe country's central bank showed Wednesday.
The index, which measures consumers' spending behaviorexpectations, stood at 83.28 in May 2009.
The rise in the index mainly stemmed from an improved outlook among consumers on the economy, job opportunitiespurchasing power, the survey showed.
