  epa02202852 Bloody Sunday relative Kay Duddy ( center ) greets a family friend as they enter the Guildhall for the final outcome of the Bloody Sunday Inquiry ,  Jan 15th , 2010 , in Derry , Northern Ireland . The inquiry was set up to re-examine the deaths of 13 people killed when British soldiers opened fire on a civil rights march in Londonderry in 1972 . The inquiry , led by Lord Saville , was announced in 1998cost about ?195m . It became the longest-running inquiry in British legal history .
