The auction for the 11th annual charity fundraiser, Glide Foundation, to have lunch with Warren Buffet raised a record 2.1 million euros, on 11 June 2010. The previous record was set in 2008 when Chinese hedge-fund manager Zhao Danyang paid 1.73 million euros for the lunch. The identity of the auction winner is still secret.  EPA/ARNE DEDERT
