epa02176924 Workers clean up oil that washed ashore along the east coast beach of Singapore on 28 May 2010. 2500 tons of crude oil spilled from a tanker damaged in a collision in the Singapore Strait is effecting Singapore's most popular stretch of beaches which remained shut to the public on the first day of the summer school holidays as emergency crews pressed on with the cleanup.  EPA/STEPHEN MORRISON
