epa02169452 Armed Thai military police patrol through the Ratchaprasong district as Bangkok residents volunteer to clean the streets alongside city cleaners of rubbishdirt left by  red shirt anti government protesters during a large scale clean up of the former protest area in Bangkok, Thailand, 23 May 2010. A massive clean-up was under way in the central Ratchaprasong area, Bangkok's ritziest shoppinghotel district,thousands of anti-government protestors had camped April 3 to May 19along the streets of the financial district of Silom,other affected areas,battles between protesterssoldierspolice had taken place.
