epa02169433 Directorate General of Civil Aviation ( DGCA ) officials are at the Air India plane crash site trying to recover the Cockpit Voice Recorder , commonly known as black box , as well as the Flight Data Recorder , in Mangalore around 360 Km form southern Indian city of Bangalore on , 23 May 2010 . About 150 people were killed when an Air India Express flying from Dubai overshot the runway after landing at the Mangalore airport in south India . The plane was carrying 163 passengers included four infantssix crewmembers . According to the reports , the plane overshot the runway while landing . EPA/JAGADEESH NV
