Poland Copernıcus Funeral

epa02168501 A coffin containing the  remains of Mikolaj Kopernik (Nicolaus Copernicus) placed in a special crypt during the holy masssecond funeral of Polish astronomer, in Frombork on the occasion of the astronomer's 537th birth anniversary, 22 May 2010. Remains of Mikolaj Kopernik were found in the year 2005 in Frombork. It took couple of years to recoveridentify the remains. Copernicus was the first astronomer to formulate a comprehensive heliocentric cosmology, which displaced the Earth from the center of the universe.  EPA/ADAM WARZAWA POLAND OUT
