Turkısh Aprıl Consumer Confıdence Up At 85.80
A key index of Turkish consumer confidence rose to 85.80 points in April from 84.74 in March, a survey conducted by the Turkish Statistics Institutethe country's central bank showed Monday.
The index , which measures consumers ' spending behaviorexpectations , stood at 80 . 75 in April 2009 .
The rise in the index mainly stemmed from improved perceptions among consumers of the future economic outlook , future job opportunitiesfuture purchasing power , the survey showed .
