epa02159038 Thai anti government red shirt protesters bring in an iron gate to fortify their barricades as they battle Thai soldiers who are preventing them entering  the red shirts protest site during violent street battles  in Bangkok, Thailand, 16 May  2010. Fighting over the past two days has left 24 people dead198 injured. The government has launched a blockade of the area around Ratchaprasong, Bangkok?s upmarket commercial district to force the protesters from their protest site but the hard lines leaders of the red shirts from the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) are refusing to move.  EPA/BARBARA WALTON
