epa02159003 Thai soldiers with guns as they hold a perimeter of closed central Bangkok streets preventing anyone from entering the red shirts protest siteare battled by anti government protesters wanting to get in, in violent street battles  in Bangkok, Thailand, 16 May 2010. Fighting over the past two days has left 24 people dead198 injured. The government has launched a blockade of the area around Ratchaprasong, Bangkok?s upmarket commercial district to force the protesters from their protest site but the hard lines leaders of the red shirts from the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) are refusing to move.  EPA/BARBARA WALTON
