epa02158988 Thai anti government protesters call for an ambulance after a protester is shot as they battle with soldiers trying to break through Thai soldiers lines preventing them entering  the red shirts protest site during violent street battles  in Bangkok, Thailand, 16 May  2010. Fighting over the past two days has left 24 people dead198 injured. The government has launched a blockade of the area around Ratchaprasong, Bangkok?s upmarket commercial district to force the protesters from their protest site but the hard lines leaders of the red shirts from the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) are refusing to move.  EPA/BARBARA WALTON
