epa02157850 Thai anti government protestors burn tyres in central Bangkok, Thailand, 15 May 2010.  Thai troops manned barricades 15 May to keep protestors from joining their colleagues at a demonstration site in central Bangkok that has been surrounded by the military,fired on the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) at Ratchaprasob Road who were trying to break through to Ratchaprasong intersection, the main protest site which they have occupied since April 3. According to witnesses, at least four demonstrators were killed in the fighting at Ratchaprasob. Street battles on 1314 May claimed 16 livesleft about 150 wounded.  EPA/AHMAD YUSNI
