Sudan Quranıc School

epa02129559 A Quranic student reads from his wooden board inscribed with Quranic verses at  a Quranic School in the village of Umm Dawban, some 50 Km East of Khartoum, Sudan, late 23 April 2010. The students write verses from the Muslim holy bookthen recite them until they are memorized. The boards are then cleanednew verses from the Quran are written on it. The 160 years old boarding charity school is specialized in teaching the Quran, the Muslim holy book, to its nearly 1000 students  EPA/KHALED EL-FIQI
