epa02125571 Space Shuttle Atlantis (L) sits attached to the external tankmobile launch platform in the Vehicle Assembly Building after the rollout to the launch pad was scrubbed 20 April 2010. The scrub was caused by rainheavy clouds moving into the area. Atlantis is now scheduled for rollout on 21 April 2010 at 6:00A.M. EDT. The normal travel distance is 3.4 miles at 1/ mph to launch pad 39-A. The next shuttle mission STS-132, is scheduled to lift off to the International Space Station (ISS) no earlier than 14 May 2010.
