epa02126214 (FILE) A file picture dated 01 December 2006 shows then Russian president Vladimir Putin (R) greeting former president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Juan Antonio Samaranch during their meeting in Moscow, Russia. Former IOC president Samaranch died on 21 April 2010 at the age of 89. The Quiron Hospital in Barcelona said Samaranch died after being admitted with heart problems.
