epa02124786 Thai riot police are cheered on by hundreds of pro government supporters waving Thai flags as they patrol in the Silom district  in Bangkok,Thailand, 20  April 2010, close to a barricade manned by anti government red shirt supporters. At least three five-star-hotels in the Rachaprasong area have closed 20 April, announcing plans to stay shut until 25 April, citing safety concerns as thousands of protesters continue to occupy the areablock it forcing hundreds of shops in the high end district to also stay closed. Hotel occupancy rates in the Thai capital have fallen dramatically in the last week as the protesters dig invow to remain until  the current government led by Abhisit Vejjajiva steps downcalls  new elections.  EPA/BARBARA WALTON
