epa02124778 Thai police, wearing the colored scarves of their brigade, man the entrance of the five star Dusit Thani hotel at the entrance of the Silom district, facing an anti government red shirt protest site, in Bangkok, Thailand, 20 April 2010.  Tourist arrivals to Thailand dropped dramatically in the face of continuing policial unrest. Three five star hotels in the Rachprasong area have closed 20 April, announcing plans to stay shut until 25 April, citing safety concerns as thousands of protesters continue to occupy the areablock it forcing hundreds of shops in the high end district to also stay closed. Hotel occupancy rates in the Thai capital have fallen dramatically in the last week as the protesters dig invow to remain until  the current government led by Abhisit Vejjajiva steps downcalls  new elections.  EPA/BARBARA WALTON
