epa02124762 Thai anti government red shirt protesters build a barricade at a protest site opposite the entrance to the business Silom district in Bangkok, Thailand, 20  April 2010. Tourist arrivals to Thailand dropped dramatically in the face of continuing political unrest in the Kingdom. Three five star hotels in the nearby Rachprasong area have closed 20 April, announcing plans to stay shut until 25 April, citing safety concerns as thousands of anti government protesters continue to occupy the areablock it forcing hundreds of shops in the high end district to also stay closed. Hotel occupancy rates in the Thai capital have fallen dramatically in the last week as the protesters dig invow to remain until  the current government led by Abhisit Vejjajiva steps downcalls  new elections.  EPA/BARBARA WALTON
