epa02124774 A  photo provided by the FireEmergency Services in Western Australia , shows the damage sustained to an hospital following an earthquake in the historic gold mining town of Kalgoorlie , 20 April 2010 .   The quake , measuring 5 . 0 on the Richter scale , is the biggest to hit the gold mining region in 50 years , Geoscience Australia says .
