Turkısh March Consumer Confıdence Up At 84.74

A key index of Turkish consumer confidence rose to 84.74 points in March from 81.85 in February, a survey conducted by the Turkish Statistics Institutethe country's central bank showed Friday.

 
The index , which measures consumers ' spending behaviorexpectations , stood at 74 . 77 in March 2009 .

The rise in the index mainly stemmed from improved perceptions among consumers of the future economic outlook , future job opportunitiesfuture purchasing power , the survey showed .
