epa02118435 The empty check in hall at Landvetter Airport, outside Gothenburg, Sweden 15 April 2010 after all flights were cancelled. Landvetter Airport shut down operations at 14.00 hours after clouds of ash from the Eyjafjallaj?kull volcano on Iceland created chaos in the air traffic in northern Europe and the United Kingdom.
