epa02117538 The rear part of a sunken naval ship is pulled up by a crane from the Yellow Seamoved onto a barge near Baengnyeong Island , South Korea on 15 April 2010 . The broken end of the ship is covered with netting to prevent objects from falling out . The 1 , 200-ton Cheonan corvette , carrying a crew of 104 , broke in halfsank after an unexplained explosion on 26 March . Fifty-eight sailors were rescued from the ship as it sank ; the bodies of two others have been found , but the rest still remain missing . EPA/YNA
