Russıa Lenın Monument

epa02117496 Russian Communist party activists wave flags celebrating installation of the monument to Vladimir Lenin ( Ulyanov ) , the leader of 1917 Russian Bolshevik Revolution , at the Finland Train Station in St . Petersburg , Russia early 15 April 2010 . The bronze monument was badly damaged by the explosion on 01 April 2009then dismantled for restoration work which cost six million rubles ( over 200 , 000 US dollars ) . The Bolsheviks had decided to erect the monument to Vladimir Lenin shortly after his death in1924 . The monument was unveiled 7 November 1926 .  EPA/VICTORIA LAMZINA
