Indıa Leopard Rescue

epa02118459 Villagers  look at a seven year  old female Leopard which was rescued by the Guwahati Zoo officials from Singimari village in the outskirts of Guwahati city, northeast India, 15 April, 2010. Forest officialsvillagers believe that the leopard might have come down from the nearby Amsang Reserve Forest in search of preyfell in to an empty water tank while chasing a goat at night. With the hard efforts of the Guwahati Zoo?s rescue staffs the leopard was later tranquilizedsafely shifted to the Guwahati Zoological Park. Local people are now demanding for immediate release of the leopard in to the wild instead of keeping it in zoo.  EPA/STR
