The Turkish central bank Friday boosted market liquidity by selling one billion Turkish lira ($678 million) in a repurchase agreement auction of up to three months' maturity.
Bids totaled TRY4 . 740 billion . The average simple interest rate was 7 . 52%the average compound rate was 7 . 74% .
The repo will mature July 16 .
At the last three-month repo , held Apr . 2 , the central bank sold TRY2 billion at an average simple interest rate of 7 . 40% .
